Canada Council for the Arts
Ika'kimaat was originally funded by the Canada Council for the Arts through their Digital Now program, supporting arts organizations as they shift to digital content.
We are grateful to the Calgary Foundation, who joined in this initiative through their Community Grants program.
Indigenous Services Canada
Indigenous Services Canada was a major contributor to our Istotsi program which ran through the COVID pandemic. The short films and the feature film created would not have happened without support from the SPI - Strategic Partnerships Initiative through ISC.
We are very thankful to the Department of Heritage for their support through the Indigenous Languages program. This program funded an animated short film in the Tsuut'ina language called The Battle of Cut Knife Creek.
What do you know about Treaty 7?
The best way to learn the true stories about Treaty 7 is from the Indigenous peoples themselves.
